The TAP600 Series combines thick film on alumina resistor technology with patented thermal materials to provide 600 watts of power in a small package. Compatible with todays heatsinks, these resistors are designed to specific customer specifications for use in variable speed drives, power supplies, robotics, motor control, and fault protection. Manufactured with patented resistance film, these resistors exhibit low inductance and stability in high power and pulse loading applications. Patented thermal compounds and an auto-calibrated mounting scheme that ensures proper contact pressure enable optimal heat conductivity to the heatsink. Resistance values range from 0.05 ohm to 100K ohm in 5% and 10% tolerance with dielectric strengths available up to 12KV. Easy to load connectors are provided for use with M4 or M5 screws and can be modified with sleeves to increase creepage distances up to 85mm.
