Ohmite Manufacturing expands their thick film product line to low ohm value chip resistors for current sensing applications. Provided in standard surface mount packages, the LVC Series is ideal for today's current sense applications requiring low profile, low cost solutions. Featuring 0.25 watt, 0.50 watt, and 1 watt power ratings these resistors are offered in E24 ohmic values from 0.05 ohm to 1 ohm in standard 5% tolerance (1% available on request). Case sizes have familiar 1206, 2010 and 2512 outlines with nickel barrier terminals to prevent silver migration. Low TCRs are provided down to +/-100 ppm, for an operating temperature range of -55° to 125°C and are packed in 8mm tape on 7" reels. These resistors cover a variety of applications including cellular, telecom, computer, wireless, RF, and power supplies.
