The new TBH25 resistor is designed for intermediate power applications and combines performance with an economical price. Designed with reliable thick film on alumina substrate technology, the TBH25 resistor delivers 25 watts of continuous power @ 25°C case temperature when properly mounted to a heat sink. These resistors are constructed of an electrically isolated resistor element packaged in a high temperature plastic case with a single screw metal tab for easy mounting to the heat sink. The TBH package meets JEDEC requirements for TO220 profile with radial lead terminals for easy insertion.

TBH25 style TO220 resistors are offered in a wide resistance range from 0.05 ohm to 10K ohms. Standard tolerance is ±5%, and 1% is available through factory request. TBH25 resistors feature low temperature coefficients down to ±50 ppm, and they exhibit non-inductive performance when fully charged. TBH25 resistors display a low thermal resistance down to 8.33°C/W to support cooling effectiveness on liquid cooled, air cooled or convection cooled heat sinks.

TBH25 resistors offer performance benefits and economic pricing which make them ideal for pulse-loading, pre-charge, bleeder, and snubber applications in switching power supplies, industrial power supplies, medical power supplies, test equipment, and other power distribution and power conversion applications.
