Rolling Meadows, Illinois - February, 2005 - Ohmite Manufacturing Company announces the introduction of their new WH/WN/WL Series Miniature Molded Axial Leaded Wirewound Resistors. The new series used the high purity (96% Alumina) ceramic cores with wire winding and spot welding by a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools to ensure consistency and product quality. The resistors are then encapsulated with epoxy molding compound using advanced IC encapsulation mold/die technologies.

The WH/WN/WL Series offers 0.5, 1, and 2 watt sizes ranging from 5.08 to 11.4mm in length and 2.54 to 6.86mm diameters.

The series offers Resistance Ranges from 0.01 to 8.0K. Ideal for precision applications, these resistors come in a variety of stock, standard values, all at 1% tolerance. WH/WN/WL Series is RoHS compliant with 100% Sn (lead free) coated terminals.
