Rolling Meadows, Illinois - June, 2005 - Ohmite Manufacturing Company proudly announces the introduction of their new 610 and 650 Series four terminal bare element resistors. These new series provide ultra low resistance values (to 0.005 ohms) for relatively high current requirements, with the advantages of a radial Kelvin configuration and PC board mounting capability, making them ideal for current sense applications.

The 610 Series has a power rating of 1 Watt, the 650 Series offers a power rating of 5 Watts. Both series feature a 1% tolerance standard, low inductance below 0.25 ohms, tinned copper leads, and RoHS compliance.

These sturdy resistors offer an overload capability of five times their rated wattage for 5 seconds, high power-to-size ratio, with operating temperature from -55°C to +275°C, and exceed the requirements of MIL-PRF-49465.
