GP Series
Grid plate resistors consist of a series of stainless steel plates insulated from and mounted on steel rods. Individual plates are then welded together to achieve the required resistance. The plate resistors are primarily made of AISI 304, but other materials are available upon request. The GP series is well suited for a variety of high power applications, but the series specializes in high energy applications such as dynamic braking and neutral grounding. We offer a 3 different enclosure types made of galvanized steel for the GP series: an open frame, an IP20
enclosure, and an IP23 enclosure.
