2000 Watt Heat Sinkable Planar
When properly heatsinked, Ohmite's TAP2000 Series dissipates 2000 watts of power. This gives it the highest power rating of any of the TAP products offered by Ohmite. This resistor is produced with Aluminum Nitride (AlN), giving it a higher thermal conductivity than resistors with the standard alumina. It is the ideal resistor when dealing with variable speed drives, power supplies, control devices, robotics, motor control, and other power designs.
