Arcol offers multiple options for your high power wirewound applications. The V series is a tubular wirewound series offered in 30 to 500 watts with multiple termination and mounting options. VT series is also offered and is similar to the V series but utilizes edge wound tape to lift the power and pulse capability. The VT is offered in lower values but due to the enhanced cooling of the edge wound design, offers wattages up to 625 watts.
Arcol has a solution for those requiring open windings as well. The O series is an open element tubular wirewound. The same great mounting and terminal options exist from the V series. The open design is used for adding adjustable bands for tapping into specific resistance values.
